Link Exchange Levels

The level of at which we found your link to us will rank your listing above or below other Link Exchange members. So, the closer you place the link to your front page, the higher we will place you in your category.

• Level 1 - Place the link on your home page
• Level 2 - Place the link one click from your home page
• Level 3 - Place the link two clicks from your home page

Step-by-Step Process

1. First, you need to Register / Create a New Login
2. Submit your local listing information.
3. Add the provided link code to your website.
4. Validate the link with the form provided in the account manager.
5. introLinks will then manually verify the link and upgrade your listing.

Local Link Exchange FAQ

• Where do i get the HTML code to put on my site?
  Instructions on how to place the link and validation submission is available in your Account Manager. You will need to Register / Login first.
• My site includes FRAMES, what effect will that have?
  If your website is frames-based, it will most likely lower your level by 1 (at a minimum). This is because your main index page, typically, only contains the frame sets.
• What happens if I remove the link to introLinks Network?
  Your listing will remain in our system, but will no longer be displayed in our public directories until the link is returned and validated.
• I placed the link and its not validating.
  If you are possitive everything is correct, we appologize, it is possible your site just can't be read by our system for one of a few reason:
  1. Flash-only site. We only read HTML
  2. Heavily frames-based ( we only crawl 2 clicks past your homepage )
  3. Invalid or non-friendly HTML making parsing by all spiders difficult.
  4. Database or highly dynamic content requiring browswer session information
  5. Hosting provider may be blocking us from sourcing your sites pages.
  
  In any case, if our validation system cannot regularly validate your return link we are unable to upgrade your listing to a Link Exchange Membership.
• Is there any reason why my Link Exchange Request would get rejected?
  It was probably not the Link Exchange that was rejected, it was probably your listing request. This might happen IF :
  1. Competitive - your site is competitive, offering advertisers similar services
  2. Not Local - your site is doesn't list your real physical location
  3. Explicit Content - your site is not family-friendly ( Rated-G )
